Modern Take on a Traditional Bungalow
A modern new house in the Grant Park neighborhood of Portland. The client’s previous house on the same site was largely destroyed by fire. The client asked for a modern house that would fit into the neighborhood of 100 year-old houses. The house has similar massing and craftsman-like details but remains anchored in the present. The interiors are modern and open, but also express the craft and warmth of traditional Northwest homes.
